Sherry Tierney joined The Rory Burkhart Team in 2017, bringing more than 25 years of financial management and real estate expertise to support the team’s operational growth and client success. She built and continues to manage the team’s financial infrastructure—providing accurate reporting, forecasting, and strategic analysis.
In early 2025, Sherry became a Licensed Realtor at The Rory Burkhart Team, expanding her role to work directly with homebuyers. Her unique combination of financial insight and real estate knowledge enables her to guide clients through the home-buying process with confidence, clarity, and care. Whether supporting first-time buyers or seasoned investors, Sherry is committed to helping clients achieve their real estate goals.
Sherry’s real estate career began in the corporate finance world where she held senior leadership roles in Structured Finance and Treasury Operations at Fortune 500 companies. During that time, she oversaw complex real estate transactions and off-balance-sheet financings, gaining a strong foundation in property investment, risk management, and financial structuring. In addition to her corporate and residential real estate experience, Sherry has served as Treasurer for various non-profit organizations—demonstrating her long-standing commitment to service and community impact. Raised in a military family, Sherry does not profess a hometown, but has called Chester County, PA home for over 16 years.
